Today in class we worked on:
11/11 – Whew! We finished our next item for our Shabbat boxes…our Havdalah candles. The children loved making their candles…it was so lively! We THEN moved on to our unit on God. One of my favorite discussions with the children is this subject. We handed out to each child their magnifying mirrors and walked around the building looking at God’s wonderful mirror.

Gan – 3rd grade had T’fillah led by Rabbi Bellows. When we returned we made our door hangers with “let God in” and let the children create on them. We listed to 2 wonderful stories as we ate our snack after our prayers (my favorite time too!).

Morah Ari led Gan – 3rd grade in Shira. When we returned to class, we finished our craft. We then learned another Hebrew letter and worked on their workbooks, which they really enjoy. We listed to 2 more wonderful books. Have a great week.
